Who we are. The public brand is SFP Cloud. This site is operated at sfpcloud.com. Support email is support@sfpcloud.com. A legal name and registered office are not yet published. “We” means the operator of this site. When the legal entity is confirmed, we will update this page. Already-published product specs will not be rewritten retroactively.
Effect and who this covers
These terms govern the rental of a Tokyo dedicated server and the related site functions (configure, pay, console, tickets, invoices) between you and us. The service is for organizations that can take civil liability, or individuals who are at least 18. If you order for an organization, you confirm you can bind that organization to these terms.
If a competent authority finds one clause invalid, the rest still apply. Each language site, once live, is governed by the text on that language’s pages. One language does not automatically translate another.
What we provide
We rent you one bare-metal dedicated server at the specs shown on the configurator when you submit. It is not an oversold VPS and not a multi-tenant virtual machine. What we currently sell is limited to:
- Two servers: AMD EPYC 7543P · 128GB DDR4-3200 ECC RDIMM at $449 / month, or the same CPU with 256GB at $599 / month. Memory cannot be upgraded after order.
- Default 2 × 1TB NVMe, no hardware RAID, each drive direct-attached, 2TB usable. You may add up to two 2TB NVMe drives at $79 / month each, still direct-attached.
- Bandwidth 250 Mbps / 1 Gbps / 2 Gbps — choose one. All three are unmetered. Surcharges are $0 / $250 / $750.
- One IPv4 included. Extra addresses are $2 / month each, 0–255 extras, 256 total per server. No subnet packs.
- One included image, default Ubuntu 24.04. Windows Server Standard $20 / month, Datacenter $30 / month.
- Servers are deployed in Tokyo, Japan.
Linux uses SSH by default. Windows uses RDP. This site does not sell browser remote-desktop access to another desktop OS as the primary service. The console is for instances you already bought, invoices, tickets, password changes, and power requests. It does not replace administration inside the OS.
Accounts, guest checkout, and credentials
The configurator and order page are public. You can pay without signing in. The browser stores a guest identifier so a later registration or sign-in can attach the order. You need to sign in to see the public address, SSH or Windows Server RDP, and password in the console.
Keep the mailbox reachable, and keep passwords, codes, and server credentials private. Loss from leaked credentials, a shared account, or a stolen device is yours. If you see an unauthorized sign-in, change the password and open a ticket immediately.
One person may hold one account. We may refuse obviously fake, bulk, or evasion accounts.
Configuration, provisioning, and access
The order is the options on the configurator when you submit. Due = monthly total × months in the term. There is no discount. Monthly rate = server price + extra disks × 79 + bandwidth surcharge + extra IPv4 × 2 + OS surcharge. No setup fee, no minimum contract. The shortest term is monthly.
After payment succeeds, a paid instance appears in the console sidebar. Status moves from provisioning to running. Access details appear only after it is running. This site does not promise a number of minutes for provisioning, and it does not copy delivery language from other sites onto this page.
Power on, power off, and reboot are submitted as tickets in the console. Power actions are unavailable until provisioning finishes. We do not reinstall the OS or rebuild a disk array for you in the browser. Reinstall or a new disk layout goes through the ticket flow in Help.
Billing, payment, and renewal
Settlement is United States dollars (USD). List prices exclude tax. If tax is yours to pay under applicable law, it will be shown at checkout or on the invoice. We do not inflate or hide the product monthly rate on the price list.
Add-ons are prepaid for the same term as the server. Quarterly, semi-annual, and annual terms only change how many months you prepay. They do not change the monthly unit price. Available gateways are whatever the checkout page shows at that moment. The gateway handles card or wallet credentials. This site does not store a full card number.
You can read invoices in the console before a term ends. If automatic renewal is open on your account, the console text controls. If it is not, service stops when a term ends unpaid. This site has not published a refund percentage or a cooling-off period. Until a refund rule is published, prepaid term fees are not returned because you changed your mind. If we cannot deliver the sold spec and cannot replace it with an equivalent configuration in a reasonable time, unused term is handled case by case in a ticket. This page does not pre-write a fixed compensation formula.
Acceptable use
You are responsible for the operating system, software, content, and outbound connections on the server. At a minimum you may not use the service to:
- Break applicable law, including fraud, money laundering, illegal content, or infringement of intellectual property or personal data.
- Scan, break into, deny service to, or otherwise attack third-party systems without authorization.
- Send spam, run an open relay, or use the included or extra IPv4 addresses for bulk mail that damages address reputation.
- Interfere with the site network, other tenants, or the underlying hardware, including deliberately saturating a shared uplink or evading abuse handling.
- Install a rented Windows license beyond this machine, or crack or bypass a vendor license.
On a complaint, a lawful inquiry, or clear abuse, we may restrict the network, suspend the instance, or give you a deadline to fix it. Serious cases may end the service immediately with no refund of fees already paid. You should provide the explanation we ask for. Refusing to cooperate may be treated as a serious breach.
Disks, backups, and data
Default disks are two independent NVMe drives. There is no hardware RAID and no hardware-level disk protection. The second drive and any extra drives are not added to an array automatically. Usable capacity is the sum of the disks. Do not read 2 × 1TB as 1TB already mirrored.
Integrity, snapshots, off-site backups, and encryption are yours. We do not owe recovery for loss from hardware failure, operator error, software defects, or software RAID / striping you built, unless the loss is a direct result of a hardware replacement we have confirmed in writing and you cannot restore from your own backup. Even then we do not guarantee we can recover data. We replace or repair hardware under the fault process.
After the service ends, a term expires unpaid, or we close the service for breach, disk contents may be wiped and cannot be recovered. Move your data out before expiry.
Addresses, bandwidth, and images
The included IPv4 comes with the server. Extra addresses are rented one by one. Ownership does not transfer. You may not resell addresses or announce them for use unrelated to this machine. Bandwidth is chosen at order time. Upgrades or downgrades follow whatever ticket or configurator capability exists later. This page does not promise a lossless change at any time.
Included operating systems are the images then available. Windows is a right to use during the rental. Language and version follow the configurator list. Other software you install needs its own license.
Maintenance, faults, and what is not promised
The following are not promises to you and are excluded here: a fixed provisioning time, an availability percentage (SLA), a fault-credit formula, a first-month discount, and a 24×7 phone line. How-to text in Help and the notes is not a service-level agreement.
The site or uplink may schedule maintenance. We will try to warn you in the console or a ticket, but we cannot guarantee every window matches one you pick. Hardware faults are handled by replacement or repair. They do not automatically extend a paid term unless we confirm that in a ticket.
Suspension, termination, and leaving
You can stop the service by not renewing. There is no early-termination fee. Unused prepaid term follows section 5 until a refund rule is published. We may suspend or end the service if a payment is overdue, section 6 is seriously breached, the law requires it, your use causes ongoing complaints or a security risk, or we stop offering that server in Tokyo and have told you in a ticket.
After termination, console access details may stop working and public addresses are reclaimed. You may ask us to close the account. Historical invoices may still be kept as the law requires. See the privacy policy.
Liability cap
To the extent applicable law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, data loss, or lost goodwill. Cumulative liability on one order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order. This cap does not exclude personal injury or liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence where the law does not allow that exclusion.
Third-party gateways, operating-system vendors, software you install, and independent events on Tokyo power or international circuits are outside what we control alone. We will help investigate within our ability. We do not promise compensation for a third party’s own failure.
Intellectual property
Copy, page design, marks, and documents on this site belong to us or the rights holders. You receive a rental of the server and a right to use the site, not ownership of the site or the hardware. Content you place on the server stays yours or your licensor’s. You grant us the limited processing needed to provide the service, clear faults, handle complaints, or follow the law.
Changes to these terms
Specs, prices, and these terms may change. For an order already paid and still in term, the purchased spec is the configuration at payment. A later price change does not require you to pay a difference or accept a forced downgrade. Changes that materially affect you will be marked by the date on this page where we can. Continued payment or continued use is acceptance of the updated text. If you do not accept it, stop renewing and move your data out.
Disputes and contact
Start a dispute in a console ticket. Until a legal entity and a forum are published, both sides should negotiate in good faith. After they are published, the then-updated forum clause applies. This page does not pre-name a country’s courts.
Day-to-day support is tickets. We do not promise a phone response time. Support email is support@sfpcloud.com; a ticket remains the formal channel for order and machine issues. Prices and configuration notes are on the pricing page and in Help.
